Step Into Safety Leadership: Become a Certified OSH Coordinator with Confidence
Workplace safety is no longer optional, it is a legal responsibility. With the latest amendment to OSHA 1994, organisations are now required to appoint competent individuals to manage safety and health matters effectively. Without proper knowledge and training, companies risk non-compliance, penalties and unsafe working conditions.
Our 3-Day OSH Coordinator Training Programme (OHS-C) is designed to prepare participants to take on this critical role with confidence and competence. This programme provides a comprehensive understanding of workplace safety requirements and equips participants with the necessary skills to support their organisation in achieving full compliance with DOSH regulations.
Participants will learn the legal duties and responsibilities of an OSH Coordinator, including how to implement Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) effectively. The training also covers preparation of basic OSH documentation and reports, supporting compliance initiatives, and assisting in safety audits and inspections. In addition, participants will gain practical insights into best practices in workplace safety management to strengthen overall organisational safety performance.
Through structured learning and practical application, participants will be well-prepared to support their organisation in maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant workplace. This programme also enhances professional value and qualifies participants for registration as a Trained Person in MyKKP (DOSH). A certificate will be provided upon completion and the training is HRD Corp claimable.
Who Should Attend
This training is suitable for supervisors, line leaders, HR and administrative personnel, management staff, safety committee members, technicians and anyone involved in occupational safety and health responsibilities within the organisation.
