Improper handling of scheduled waste can lead to safety hazards, environmental issues and legal penalties. Organisations dealing with scheduled waste must ensure employees understand the correct procedures and compliance requirements under Malaysian environmental regulations.
Our 1-Day Scheduled Waste Management Awareness Program is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and awareness on proper scheduled waste handling, storage, documentation and disposal practices. This programme helps organisations improve workplace safety, environmental compliance and operational efficiency.
Participants will learn the different types of scheduled waste, particularly SW410, SW409 and SW322, including proper labelling, segregation, and storage requirements. The training also covers scheduled waste inventory management, documentation processes, disposal flow and the consignment note process in accordance with Department of Environment (DOE) requirements and Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974 regulations.
Through practical learning and workplace examples, participants will gain a better understanding of how to manage scheduled waste safely, legally and effectively within their organisation. This training supports organisations in reducing compliance risks while promoting a safer and more environmentally responsible workplace. A certificate will be provided upon completion.
