This Chemical Handling & Safety Awareness Training is designed to equip employees with essential knowledge and practical understanding of chemical hazards and safe working practices. The programme focuses on building strong awareness, reinforcing safe behaviours and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health requirements.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of chemical hazard classifications, labelling systems, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and globally harmonised pictograms. The training also covers proper handling techniques, safe storage requirements, compatibility considerations and the correct selection and usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
In addition, the session addresses emergency preparedness, including effective spill response procedures, initial containment measures and incident reporting protocols. Regulatory alignment with OSHA and DOSH safety standards is integrated throughout the programme to ensure organisations remain compliant and audit-ready.
Who This Training Is For
This programme is suitable for laboratory personnel, production operators, warehouse staff, maintenance teams, supervisors, safety committee members and any employees who handle, store or work near hazardous chemicals.
