Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) alone is not enough to ensure safety. Employees must know how to use, care for and maintain their PPE correctly to remain fully protected in the workplace. This training is designed to build awareness, skills and discipline in proper PPE usage, storage, inspection and maintenance. Participants will learn how to select the right PPE, identify signs of wear and damage, maintain equipment properly and comply with OSH regulations, ensuring safety is both effective and sustainable.
Who This Training Is For
This training is suitable for safety officers, supervisors, production and maintenance staff, laboratory personnel and all employees required to wear or manage personal protective equipment at the workplace.
Key Outcomes
Participants will be able to understand the types and functions of PPE, apply correct donning and doffing techniques, maintain and store equipment properly, identify damaged or worn PPE, implement replacement practices and ensure compliance with occupational safety requirements.
Program Details
A practical awareness training programme combining theory and hands-on exercises, designed to improve PPE knowledge, build safe habits and extend the lifespan of protective equipment.
